A funeral service celebrating the life and legacy of Mr. of James B. Coleman will be held on Monday December 12th at 11am at Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Terrence J Harrison officiating.  
Mr. Coleman was born April 28, 1938 in Georgiana AL, a son of Lewis Coleman and Georgia Burnett Coleman coming to the Shenango valley many years ago.  He was formerly employed with Shenango  Inc. in Sharpsville  retiring after 30 years of loyal service.   He was member of Valley Baptist Church where he sang in the male and senior choir, served as a deacon and driver.  Mr. Coleman enjoyed singing, praying and spending time with his family. He would travel from church to church with  the Shenango Valley Prayer Band when they were active.   Prior to his recent illness he enjoyed spending his days at the Shenango Valley Senior Center where on special occasions he would render a song. 
 On December 7, 2016 Mr. Coleman departed this life in his home with his loving family by his side. 
 He leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughters, Jenneta Coleman, Malinda Gavins Farrell  whom he resided with, Janice (Willie Sr.) Miller Greenville, Alabama, Laura (Benjamin) Blue Hermitage; The apple of his eye his granddaughter Laetitia Coleman, his grandson Willie Miller Jr; his sister-in-law Eula Welch, Niagara Falls New York; his god daughter, Kimberly Gonzalez, Youngstown, his god sons, Jason Hilton , Emmanuel Graham and Quentin Graham; a host of nieces , nephews, and other family members including his grand dog Baby.
 He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marden Brewer Coleman whom he married May 2, 1959; his  brothers,  Rev.  Johnnie McCastle, Columbus Coleman, Lewis Coleman, Robert Coleman; his sisters, Gennie V. Rich, Anna Hawthorne and Georgia Mae Brooks. 
The family will receive friends Monday from 10-11am at the church.
