Sorrow turns to joy in that Holy City I know it hurts so bad to lose a loved one. If our loved ones are numbered among the righteous, their souls will be at rest eternally in “Abraham’s bosom” (cf. Luke 16:22, 26). The righteous has hope in his death. Hence, our sorrowing hearts will turn to joy knowing that the righteous shall see the magnificent beauty, splendor and glory of the Holy City of God. Furthermore, the Bible tells us that in God’s Holy City there will be no sorrowing hearts because God shall wipe away all tears from their [our] eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away (Revelation 21:4). Therefore, let us comfort one another with these words. Florence and the family take comfort in the Lord. Our hope is in the resurrected Christ.
