Timothy Carl Moore, son of the late Collie Boss Moore and Grace Elizabeth Falls Moore, was born on March 20, 1958 in Gastonia, North Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 12, 2017 in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Father was loved by many and he lived an active life. He was educated in the Gaston County schools and completed his education with DeVry University in Atlanta, Georgia. He was employed with Duke Energy for thirty-eight years. He loved football and basketball. Tim was a kind, gentle and caring person. He had a giving spirit and loved helping people in the community. 

He is survived by his devoted children, Timmy Michael Brown, Ebony Moore Gash, son-in law, Joshua Gash; sister Darlene Moore Smart, brother in-law James Smart, sister Vivian Melva Cathey Hargraves and brother in-law Walter Hargraves; three grandchildren, Marjoriah, Jaydon and Jaiveon Gash; five nieces and nephews, other relatives, friends and his beloved dog, Buddy.

Epworth United Methodist Church

Gastonia, N.C.  28052

DATE & TIME:
Thursday, January 19, 2017 @ 1:00 P.M.

VISITATION:
The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to funeral.
(12:00 until 1:00 p.m.)
