          Angel Baquera, Jr., 28, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, died on Saturday, January 28, 2017.  He was born in Las Cruces, NM on May 12, 1988 to Angel and Yvette Baquera, Sr..

          Angel’s hobbies include basketball, coaching, dancing, refereeing and working with youth.  He loved working with his hands and, especially, loved spending time with his family.

          Survivors include his wife, Amanda Baquera (married May 17, 2008); his children – Autumn Nevaeh Baquera (age 5) and Angel Xavier “A.J.” Baquera, III (age 3); parents, Angel and Yvette Baquera, Sr.; siblings – Manuel Baquera, III and Grace Baquera Berry.

          Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the New Creation Church in Arrey, NM and services will follow at 3:00 P.M. officiated by Rev. Angel Baquera, Sr.  Cremation will follow services.

          In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Angel's wife, Amanda M. Baquera, 3825 Douglas MacArthur Rd., NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.  Arrangements are by Kirikos Family Funeral Home, Inc. & Sierra Crematory, LLC, 303 N.
