MR. TROY EDWARD CALDWELL

Troy Edward Caldwell was born December 23, 1964 in New London, Connecticut.  He departed this life on February 2, 2017.

Troy graduated from Crosby High School, Waterbury, Connecticut.  He worked at Carolina Stalite Company, Gold Hill, North Carolina and Davis Scrap Metal, Inc., Norwood, North Carolina.  He was a dedicated and hardworking person.  He had marched with the Berkeley Knights Drum Corp in Waterbury, Connecticut and also was a member of the Boys and Girls Club also in Waterbury, Connecticut.  Troy loved sports and the Pittsburgh Steelers was his favorite team.

Troy was a selfless giver and had the most precious smile and an engaging personality.  He loved his family with all his might and offered great words of advice to all who sought his help.

He was preceded in death by his parents:  Dorsey C. Jenkins, Sr. (father), Beaulah Mae (Green) Jenkins (mother), grandparents: Frederick and Ida (Mamo) (Starks) Green and sister:  Annette Petteway.

He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Deena Caldwell, Norwood, North Carolina, nine children:  Kamesha Ellis, Santacha Caldwell, Shania Caldwell of Waterbury, Connecticut, Tralanda Humphrey, Sateria Humphrey, Raysheda Humphrey of New Britain, Connecticut, Ella Harris, Lilesville, North Carolina, Corey Davis and Justin Harris, Norwood, North Carolina.  Nine grandchildren.  Two sisters, Allison Terry (Jerome) and Jewel Moseley of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Samuel Coleman (Lisa), Charlotte, North Carolina and David Coleman (Phyllis), Waterbury, Connecticut. Father and mother-in-law, Rocky and Linda Moore; grandparents, Thomas and Lucille Moore and Ernest and Rebecca Little.  Five in-laws, Beth Parker (Thomas), Mt. Gilead, North Carolina, April Baldwin (Anthony), Albemarle, North Carolina, Enthrillian Batty (Micah Sr.) and Alisha Huntley (Diallo), Salisbury, North Carolina and Stacy Moore, Troy, North Carolina.  Special friends, Patrick and Louvenia Davis, Marcell Watkins, Miles Bivens, Quentin Edwards, Harvey Leake, Barrett Parker, Selina Parker and Ronnie Hendricks.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


Memorial
services will be on Saturday, February 18, 2017, 12:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
