Please accept my deepest sympathies in your recent loss. It never was God's purpose for man to live shortly then die. However, He promised that there will be a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored into a paradise ( Acts 24:15, Psalms 37:9-11, 29). We can be sure because everything that he promises he accomplishes without fail (Isaiah 55:11) Revelation 21:3,4 also says that pain, suffering and death will be gone forever!
