William  Howard  Ellis,  60,  of  Port Saint Lucie, FL  passed away on Wednesday February  1,  2017.

 He was born on January 15, 1957 in Appalachia, GA and has been a lifetime resident of Saint Lucie County.

 William was employed with Saint Lucie County as a Janitor.

 Survivors include his sons, Travis Lamar (Stephanie) Ellis of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Maurice Devon  Ellis of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Michael Ellis of Ft. Pierce, FL and Edward Ellis of Birmingham, AL;  sisters, Teressa Coleman of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Annie Commander of Fort Pierce, FL; and six grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by his mother, Varnelle Ellis.

 Visitation will be held 3 to 7PM Friday February 10, 2017 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be  held 11AM Saturday February 11, 2017 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home Chapel,  317 North 7th Street, Fort Pierce, FL. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
