Joseph Richardson, Sr., 86, of Fort Pierce, FL passed away on Saturday February 11, 2017 at Treasure Coast Hospice, Fort Pierce, FL.
He was born on March 18, 1930 in Havana, FL and has been a long time resident of Saint Lucie County.
Joseph was retired from a produce company as a truck driver.
He was a member and served as an Elder of the House Of Prayer Pentecostal Church.
Joseph enjoyed watching all judge movies, westerns, wrestling, fishing and eating.
Survivors include his wife, Leola Proctor Richardson of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Joseph Richardson Jr. of Fort Pierce, FL, Chester Brown of Tallahassee, FL, Charlie Lyles, Jr. of Orlando, FL; daughters, Joyce Richardson Alexander of Douglasville, GA, Peggy Richardson Faulkner of Junction City, Kansas. Barbara Williams of Irvington, AL, Sharlene Richardson and Gloria Monroe of Fort Pierce, FL, Sabrina Lyles-Kellam of Port Saint Lucie, FL; brother, Morris Richardson Sr. of Fort Pierce, FL; sister, Louise Richardson-Westberry of Tallahassee, FL; twenty-two grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Jeanette Everett, Carolyn Richardson; parents, Mariah Mills and Leroy Richardson; brothers, Damin Richardson, Cleveland Richardson and Leroy Richardson.
Visitation will be held 3 to 7PM at House of Prayer Pentecostal Church, 3300 Avenue L, Fort Pierce. A funeral service will be held 11AM Saturday February 18, 2017 at Greater Faith 13th Street Church of God, INC., 1902 North 13th Street, Fort Pierce, FL. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park, Fort Pierce, FL.
