My heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your dear loved one.  The Bible speaks about our span of life being 70 or 80 years if one is especially strong (Psalms 90:10) so your loved one was able to live longer than most. Though death is difficult to deal with, the Bible also speaks of the time of a resurrection when the lame will leap like the deer (Isaiah 35: 5, 6) and older ones who have died will live again. Take comfort in that beautiful promise from God. For additional information, please visit jw.org.

It saddens me that another member of my family has passed on. She lived a long and beautiful life and now looks forward to everlasting life as God has promised her. Take comfort in these words and enjoy peace.

My sincere condolences to the family. Even Jesus wept at the loss of a loved one. I have found comfort in the scriptural promise at John 5:28, 29 and I pray you will as well.

I would like to offer my condolences to the Rutledge family. 93 years is quite an accomplishment according to the Bible (Psalm 90:10) and I know Arilla has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. Hopefully this scripture will give you comfort because Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18) is promising us he will do away with man's worst enemy, death. This is found for us at Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matthew 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. John 6: 40 tells us: "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day." Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago. Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." This is a wonderful promise made to us by our heavenly father and I pray it brings you comfort and hope. Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Again, I offer my sincere condolences to the family.
