Mrs. Olivet Partlow, 78, of Flennigan Way, Charlotte, North Carolina was born August 29, 1938 in Oxford, Missouri and departed this life Wednesday, March 1, 1017 at Pavilion Health Center at Brightmore, Charlotte, North Carolina.  She was the daughter of the late William and Charlotte  .  

She lived and worked as an interior designer in Charlotte, North Carolina for the last nineteen years while serving as a devoted wife to her husband, William Edward Partlow.  Olivet graduated from Oxford Training School in 1956 and enrolled at Spelman College in Atlanta, GA on an academic scholarship.  After attending Spelman College, Olivet lived and worked in Atlanta for eighteen years.  During those years she also Georgia State College.

in 1974 Olivet moved from Atlanta, Georgia to San Francisco, California seek new employment.  Over the next twenty-three years she worked as a legal secretary for two of the largest law firms in San Francisco, Pillsbury, Madison and Sutro and the Brubeck Law Firm.  During that period of time she also married her husband, Willilam E. Partlow, on July 18, 1976, completed requirements to earn a BS Degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University and attended night school at the University of California Berkeley Extension in San Francisco to earn her Interior Design Credentials.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Mossie Parham, Willie Mae Mosby and Mary Frances Hibbler; brothers, James Parham and Freddie Parham.

Olivet leaves to cherish precious memories her husband of forty years, William E. Partlow; one stepson, Herbert F. Partlow; four grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Wednesday, March 8, 2017 @ 1:00 P.M.

VISITATION
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday for thirty minutes prior to funeral 12:30 until 1:00 P.M.
