OBITUARY

Mrs. Daisy B. Alfred was born March 10, 1927 in Marion County, MS to the daughter of the late Dee and Zelma (Daniels)Foxworth.  In a turn of life’s journey on February 11, 2017 she joins Ollie Alfred, Sr. (Husband), Ollie James Alfred, Jr. (Son), Thelma Bridges (Daughter), Sisters Gardine (Augusta) Alfred, Mae Oia (J.B.) Lampton and brothers Glen Dee Foxworth, and James Foxworth, Sr. in their heavenly home. Daisy attended Pine Grove School and was employed with /Dust Girl Laundry and New Orleans Funiture Plant. Daisy joined Little Rock M.B. Church at an early age where she serviced faithfully as a member of the choir, Women Mission, and Heroin of Jericho #289.

She was united in holy matrimony to Ollie James Alfred, Sr. (who preceded her in death) she leaves to cherish her precious memories daughters; Zelma Fennell of Santa Cruz, CA, Shelia          ( Jaruis ) Jacobs of Kenner, LA, Zelda (Rattief) Magee of Foxworth, MS and Michele ( Henry ) Fortenberry of Augusta, GA. Son; Glen Earl (Dionne) Alfred, Sr., Fred (Lisa) Alfred of New Orlean, LA, Jeffery (Theresa) Alfred of Meridian, MS.

Sisters-Ada (Jerry) Walker of Columbia, MS and Lois (Charles) Payton of Foxworth, MS.  
Brothers-Clarence Foxworth (Germany), Billy Ray (Margie) Foxworth of Gulfport, MS, L.D. Foxworth, Buford (Faye)Foxworth, Calvin Foxworth, and Sedgie Foxworth all of Foxworth, MS.
Daughter-in-laws-Olympia Avertte Alfred (John) Head of Canton, MS. Son-in-Law- Billy Ray Bridges of New Orleans, LA. Three Sister-In-Laws Martha Reen Richards and Maxine Foxworth of Farrell, PA, and Ruth Foxworth of Foxworth, MS., Three devoted caregivers Hazel Lenior, Elizabeth Allen, and Daphine Alfred

Twenty-Seven grandchildren, Twenty-six great grandchildren and a host of loving nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
