To the family and friends of John Walker: I would like to express my deepest sympathy. I am sorry for your loss. The death of a love one is a painful experience. Our Heavenly Father is well aware of the hurt you feel. May the God of all comfort provide you with strength in this most difficult time (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). God promises that soon He will remove all causes of pain, suffering, and death (Revelation 21:3,4). We know that Almighty Jehovah God has not only the power but also yearns to fulfill this promise. Until that time, may you find comfort in this promise and treasure the special memories you shared.

Indeed it sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear John. Certainly, this is a distressful period for your family. Please be assured that God is aware of your despair and in due time, he will apply the value of Jesus sacrifice to forever end death and sorrow (John 3:16, Rev. 21:3,4) Please accept my condolences during this most painful period. ** For more in-depth details, please copy/paste the link below in web browser: https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/wp20150301/jesus-death-and-resurrection/

To the Walker family, my deepest sympathies to you. I am very sorry for your loss. God's original purpose for humankind was to live forever in Paradise on a beautiful earth. Death was not part of that original purpose. Unfortunately, in this world we live in, it is all too common to lose our loved ones in death, and it hurts. However, we won't hurt for long. John 5:28,29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice, and come out." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones. No doubt, that's a promise that you would like to see fulfilled.

I know it's hard losing someone you love in death, but the memories of that love one, will last forever in your heart and mind. May you find comfort in the scripture which speaks of God, being the God of all comfort who never intended for anyone to fall asleep in death. It's also comforting to know that your loved one is also remembered by God, such a wonderful provision. - 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 May this article provide you some comfort: https://www.jw.org/finder?pub=wp16&issue=201609&wtlocale=E&srcid=share

To The Walker Family, You have suffered a great loss and Jehovah feels your pain and for that I am truly sorry . Psalms 145: 18,19 says " Jehovah is near to all those calling on him,... " Verse 19 says " He hears their cry for help and he rescues them." Almighty God will help you through your pain as he has helped me with my losses. Please rely on his tender care.

I read about the recent death of John and I know the Walker family and loved ones have saddened hearts today. So I wanted to share this beautiful scripture where our heavenly father, Jehovah, (Psalm 83:18), promises us that he is going to do away with man's greatest enemy, death. Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. It is my prayer this scripture will give you comfort in your grief. I am very sorry for your loss. However, Almighty God has provided a guarantee of a resurrection to all people in His memory by resurrecting Jesus from the dead. (Psalm 83:18; Acts 17:31) We will be able to see our loved ones again on a restored earth. (Psalm 37:11, 29) I hope this brings you peace.
