I know it's hard losing someone you love in death, but the memories of that love one, will last forever in your heart and mind. May you find comfort in the scripture which speaks of God, being the God of all comfort who never intended for anyone to fall asleep in death. It's also comforting to know that your loved one is also remembered by God, such a wonderful provision. - 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 May this article provide you some comfort: https://www.jw.org/finder?pub=wp16&issue=201609&wtlocale=E&srcid=share

I wanted to send my love and condolences to the Washington family. I am so sorry for your loss. At times like this we need comfort. God's Word can provide that comfort for it speaks of a beautiful hope for the future. John 5:28,29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones. My thoughts and prayers are with you. If you would like more information about the resurrection hope, you can visit our website at www.jw.org.

To the Family and Friends of Tyrone Washington: I would like to express my deepest sympathy. I am sorry to hear of your loss. The death of a love one is a painful experience. Our Heavenly Father is well aware of the hurt you feel. May the God of all comfort provide you with strength in this most difficult time (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). God promises that soon He will remove all causes of pain, suffering, and death (Revelation 21:3,4). We know that Almighty Jehovah God has not only the power but also yearns to fulfill this promise. Until that time, may you find comfort in this promise and treasure the special memories you shared.

I am truly sorry for the loss and pain that the Washington family and friends are feeling because of losing Tyrone recently in death. Most of us have had to endure the sorrow of losing a loved one in death. What helped me the most was prayer and faith in God's promises like found here at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 and it tells us: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it."For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Again, the family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences. I am very sorry for your loss. However, Almighty God has provided a guarantee of a resurrection to all people in His memory by resurrecting Jesus from the dead. (Psalm 83:18; Acts 17:31) We will be able to see our loved ones again on a restored earth. (Psalm 37:11, 29) I hope this brings you peace.
