God in his infinite wisdom saw fit to take our loved one and angel, John Junior Taylor, affectionately known to family and friends as Buck and JT. Buck was the son of the late John and Vera Taylor.  He began his earthly life on July 21, 1950 in Granville County, North Carolina and departed his life on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Hock Hospice Family Pavilion in Durham, North Carolina.

At an early age, Buck gave his life to Christ at Antioch Baptist Church in Oxford, North Carolina. He attended Granville County Public School.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening, and watching sports.

Buck spent 25 years as a transfer truck driver. He is preceded in death by his parents (John and Vera Taylor) and four sisters (Johnnie Mae Hunter, Bessie Green, Emma Shells, and Belinda Williams).

Buck leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Alison Youngblood-Taylor of Cary, North Carolina; two daughters, Gwendolyn Bond (Tyrun) of Detroit, Michigan and Shatonia Taylor (Mike Griffith) of Greensboro, North Carolina; two sons John Fields of Oxford, North Carolina and Cameron Youngblood of Cary, North Carolina; 11 grandchildren; three sisters, Elizabeth Dawes (James), Edna Peace (Theodore) of Oxford, North Carolina and Alicia Taylor of Montclair, New Jersey; four brothers, Haywood Taylor (Gladys) of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Alfred Taylor (Linda), Vernon Taylor (Teressa), and Michael Taylor (Tracey) of Oxford, North Carolina; four brother-in-laws, Govan Hunter and Peter Green of Oxford, North Carolina, Roderick Hill and Neil Lymore of Cary, North Carolina; a Godsister, Barbara Paschall of Oxford, North Carolina; a mother-in-law, Emma Hill of Cary, North Carolina; two aunts, Norann Taylor and Dottie Bridges of Oxford, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
