Our beloved Eddie Vance Ross departed this earthly life on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at his residence in Polkton, North Carolina.  He was born to the late Bright Christepher Ross and the late Lillie Bell Borden on August 1, 1940 in Anson County, North Carolina.

He confessed Christ at an early age and was a former member of Saron Missionary Baptist Church, Polkton, North Carolina. He attended East Polkton School, Polkton, North Carolina.  He retired from Carroll Edwards Wood Products in Marshville, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ross was preceded in death by his brothers, William Bennett Ross, John Roosevelt Ross, James Henry Maske, Fred Ross and one sister, Celia Mae Ross.

Left to cherish his memories are two sisters, Katherine Mae Ross of Polkton, North Carolina and Pastor Queen Susan Campbell (Joe Lewis) of Wadesboro, North Carolina.  Four uncles and three aunts.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  A special friend, Ms. Mae Polk

The Homegoing Celebration was held on Friday, March 17, 2017, 3:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina.  Burial  followed in the family plot of the Williams Cemetery, Polkton, North Carolina.
