MRS. ANNIE BELL PRATT RATLIFF

Mrs. Annie Belle Pratt Ratliff, daughter of the late Thomas Weaver Pratt and the late Lossie Elizabeth Little Pratt, was born March 8, 1922 and departed this life on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at home with family.  She was the oldest of ten children.

Being raised in a Christian home, she joined Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Morven, NC at an early age.  Later in life, she converted to Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a devoted member for over thirty years.

She was married to the late Willie Rayford Ratliff.  To this union one son and two daughters were born.  Two children, Willie Eugene Ratliff and Elma Lee Ratliff Horne, preceded her in death.  Also three sisters and five brothers preceded her in death.

Surviving to cherish her memories are one daughter, Betty Ratliff Dunlap of the home, two children of the heart, Larry Eugene Ratliff of Lilesville, NC and Terry Ratliff Harrell of Darlington, SC, one sister, Dorothy Pratt Deberry of Penns Grove, New Jersey, one brother-in-law, Floyd Marshall of High Point, NC, one sister-in-law, Paula Pratt of Thomasville, NC, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, seventeen great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  A special friend and caregiver, Shirley Polk.



The Homegoing Celebration was held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, 11:00am, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina.  Burial will follow in the Westview Memorial Park, Highway 74-West, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
