I am very sorry that death has robbed your family of someone you loved. In the Bible there are many scriptures that provide comfort. Our heavenly father knows your distress. Jehovah our GOD is referred to as the “The Father of tender mercies and the GOD of all comfort .” Please read 2 Cor 1:3-4, Psalms 34:18 and Isaiah 65:2 for words of comfort.

My condolences to the family of Mr. Godette. The pain the Godette family must be feeling may seam unbearable. Please know that Alighty God knows your pain and cares for you. Jehovah through his Son Jesus offers the hope of the resurrection. This is sure promise from the God that can not lie( Titus1:2 and is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who can not lie, promised long ago.) Acts 24:15 says: I have hope towards God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. As your family and friends endure you loss may these word comfort you. Revelation 21:5 says: "Look!I am making all things new." Also he says: "Write, for these words are faithful and true."

My deepest condolences to the family during this difficult time. I am the Grandson of Minnie Fenner. She was from Harlow, NC. She moved to Durham, NC and eventually resided in Brooklyn, NY. I know I am related to the Godettes from an Ancestry search and after seeing this gentleman's picture the features are very similar. I am also related to the Dove family and have visited Oscar's in the past while visiting my Great Aunt Lula Mae Yates. I welcome contact from any member of the family. You can reach me at 757 535 6940. Please leave a text so I can get back to you. God Bless!!!
