Funeral services for Mrs. Kathy Ann Ingram will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017, 1:00 PM at Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1879 Glenwood Avenue, Atlanta with Rev. Dr. William Flippen, Sr., pastor.

Family will receive friends on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at Donald Trimble Mortuary. Mrs. Ingram will lie instate at the church two hour prior to funeral service. Kathy was born on October 5th, 1957. She grew up in Atlanta where she attended John Hope Elementary and graduated from Grady High School in 1975.

She attended South Georgia Technical College in Americus, GA where she earned an associates degree in accounting.

She worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance company for over 20 years as an insurance adjustor. She retired from there in 1995. She also worked Air Serv at Hartfield Jackson International Airport as a customer relations manager where she was loved by all her employees. Customers would always compliment her on her dedication to high quality service and her infectious smile. She married Jimmy Ingram in September 1999 in Eatonton, Georgia.

Kathy was a dedicated member of Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia under the leadership of Reverend Dr. William E. Flippin, Sr., for over 30 years. She was member of Usher Board #1, where she served as president for 2 years. She was also a member of the Senior Praise Dance Team for many years. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Jimmy; her mother, Susie Mae Tate; three daughters, Katina (Darrell) Balkcom; Sabrina Rollins; and Talisa Fortson; her brother, William (Doris) Cannon; her sister, Edwina (Richard) Hill; five grandchildren, Bryana; Terion; Amayah; Darrel, Jr.; Arriana; aunts, uncle, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
