Denise West Gallant passed on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 12:40 PM at Del Sol Hospital in El Paso, TX due to Pulmonary Embolisms. She went painlessly.
Denise was a two time leukemia survivor and battled through many ailments. She had nothing but love for anyone and everyone. Denise was as special as love itself. She did many different types of art and donated to help the Geronimo Springs Museum and Sierra Vista Hospital.
Few know the true hero she was and how much she helped women’s protection from abuse. Denise is truly a genuine hero and should be remembered as such!
Survivors include her only true love of 20 years, Rex Gallant; her daughter, Shannon and husband, Mike; her son, Michael and wife, Christine; grandchildren – Gabriel, Nicholas, Anthony, Jeffrey, Alli, Kaitaya, Maya; great-grandson, Charlie; mother, Frances Wolfinger of Sebring, FL; brothers – Brian Hilger and wife, JoAnn and David Diegel and wife, Lisa; and her buddy dogs – Swab and Waggles.
Denise was deeply spiritual and often prayed with strangers. She just had a special magnetism to everyone who met her, and often people would just come up and ask to know her. She never denied anyone of special love or spiritual prayer. She is a true loss to the world and all who knew her. Prayers are all that’s asked.
A simple private family ceremony was held on March 22, 2017 at Kirikos Family Funeral Home.
“God bless you all and remember to always love each other.” DWG.
