    My heart was sadden to learn of the passing of your precious Mother and Grand-mother. May God comfort your broken hearts and give you peace as you go through the process of healing.     I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom and best friend. My prayers go out to you all and I pray that God gives you all the strength during this sad time. I know it's not that much comfort but just realize that all of her pain is gone and she with the Lord now. Blessing to the entire family.

Christine Farrow Dunn, 84, of 1700 National Avenue, New Bern died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

The family is receiving friends at the residence  and  Thursday, 6:00 PM at Oscar's Memorial Chapel.

Her funeral service is 1:00 PM Friday, April 7, 2017 at Undenominational Pentecostal Holiness Church,5325 Hwy. 17 S Rocky Run. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

She is a native of the Adams Creek Community of Havelock and a member of Undenominational Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rocky Run.

Her survivors are eight daughters, Irene Dunn Kinsey, Lorene Dunn Daniels both of New Bern, Teresa Dunn Jones, Ayden, Glenda Dunn Cannon of Winterville, Roxzene Dunn Barrett, Ayden, Angela Louvine Dunn, Stephanie Dunn Pate and Chantel Dunn all of New Bern, four sons, Darnell Dunn, Greensboro, Preston Dunn,Jr. of Pollocksville, Ronnie Dunn, Jacksonville, NC and Tony Dunn of Pollocksville; three sisters, Eunice Medler, Mary Thompson both of New Jersey and Alvania Thompson of Florida; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
