James Edward Blackmond III
July 22, 1979~ March 23, 2017

James Edward Blackmond III was born on July 22, 1979 to Mrs. Katherine Osgood and Mr. James Edward Blackmond, Jr. and also to the late Mr. Willie Earl Osgood.

James was the baby of four siblings. He attended Ol Perry Walker High School in New Orleans.

To the first union he had one child name Jamereyell Blackmond.

Then later in life he met and fell in love with and married Queenita Johnson, into this union he had six children, Ferronta, Nigell, Shy’niqua, Niketa, Anqueenetta, and Uriah Johnson. He also had two grandchildren Cameron and Nykeria Johnson.

Proceeded him in death is his daughter Jamie Nichole Blackmond, his father Mr. Willie Earl Osgood, stepfather Eddie D. Johnson, grand parents Charles and Ella Ree Russ, Johnnie Lee and Lee Gertha Osgood. James, Sr. and Clara Blacknond, his father and mother-in-law Ezell and Queen Ethel Johnson.

James who was affectionately loved and known as “Man” had a sensational sense of humor with unconditional love for his family and all children.

Man, was also a diehard Saints fan who later became and Executive member of the MS Saints Fan Association, Feb. 2017

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife Queenita Blackmond, two sons: Ferronta and Nigell Johnson, five daughters: Jamereyell Blackmond, Shy’niqua Johnson, Niketa Johnson, Anqueenetta Johnson, and Uriah Johnson, two grandchildren: Cameron Johnson and Nykeria Johnson, his mother Mrs. Katherine Osgood Johnson, five sisters: Regina(roger) Allen, Lakina Osgood, Terrell(Kell) Johnson, Lynette Dillon, and Leketchisa (Jermaine) Allen, two brothers: Willie and Jeffery Dillon, one God brother Joshua McGowan, one sister Isheka Simmons, two God children: My’Anjah Reese, and Kamera Ezell, four brother-in-law: Kelly Johnson, Roger Allen, Ozell Johnson, and Ezell Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
