My Dear Sweet Pops.....there is again a hole in my heart, even though I truly believe you are in a far better place than this old earth! I believe in my heart that we are all only passing through, but that doesn't keep me from selfishly hurting for your presence here with us, and missing you terribly! Thank you for everything that you did for my mom, Beverly Hamilton. I thank you for your kindness and gentleness towards her for the entire time you were together. She truly felt blessed to have you in her life. You took such good care of her without asking anything in return. I know I was blessed to have you in my life and I am truly devastated with losing you. I thank God that you are now out of pain and suffering. And I know you are riding your horse "PeeWee", with your dog "Girl" beside you on that Great Ranch in the sky. Keep my place warm & the light on.......... We will Love You Forever Young Man! I will approach everything in life with a "Cowboy-Up" attitude in your remembrance. RIP Johnny B...........until we meet again!

I am sorry that your family and friends have had to have more heartache by your returning to our Heavenly Father. I never knew your last name until today, after seeing Diane and Gregg Lunsford's post on Facebook. Let me assure you..everyone was calling on everyone for prayers to get you through your time in ICU and boy, oh, boy, prayers came through and you got out of there! I don't know you but what I've read, you are the apple in many folks' eyes! Beverly's daughters are very protective of their mom and Johnny, you passed muster for sure in the Hamilton's hearts and minds! She is a very special lady to me and I know she deserves to be treated as such. She's had some rough times and if you are the one that shared 19 years with her, then you were certainly a very special man! Thank you for loving her, her children, grandchildren and their children. Thank you for your service in the conflict of Vietnam, yet another senseless war. I feel like I know you a tad bit more by all the out pouring of love from so many that loved and cared deeply for you. Perhaps in the far, far away future, I'll finally get to say, "Hey, Johnny B! We finally get to meet." In the meantime, take your time getting back on your horse. Your faithful Girl will be there with wags and smiles, gettin' along little doggies, gettin' along. Who needs to rest in peace when you've got a lot of living to do on the other side? Those family and friends have been waiting on you for awhile. I know those here on earth will feel your spirit when you stop in for a visit. God Speed, Johnny B. God Speed. L Denise Miner Boyd Zilke
