To the Moten Family, May the scripture below bring your family some comfort in this time of sadness; "2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God."

I am truly sorry for the loss and pain that the Moten family and friends are feeling because of losing Margaret recently in death. Most of us have had to endure the sorrow of losing a loved one in death. What helped me the most was prayer and faith in God's promises like found here at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 and it tells us: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." The Bible also enlightens us at Hebrews 2:14 "so that through his (Jesus) death, he (Jesus) might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Again, the family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences. I have you in my thoughts since it is the one year anniversary of Margaret's death. I will keep the Moten family in my prayers. I'm quite sure this past year has been difficult adjusting without your precious, Margaret. Words are so limited that can give comfort, so I would like to share with you beautiful scripture where our loving heavenly Father, (Psalm 83:18), wants you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 34:18 None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. Our precious savior, Jesus, promises us at John 6: 40; “For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day”. And again at: John 5: 28; “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…” And also at John 11:23-25; “Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life.” The one who exercises faith in me, even tho he dies, will come to life.” I pray that Jesus’s promise to reunite us with our loved ones on resurrection day will carry you through the difficult days ahead and gradually replace your tears of grief with tears of joy as you reflect on your precious memories of happier times with Margaret. Job asked at Job 14:14; “If a man dies, can he live again?” Job answers at Job 14:15; “You (Jehovah) will call and I will answer.” Just like Job, we can have confidence in the resurrection hope. Acts 17:31-34 tells us: Because he (Jehovah) has set a day on which he (Jehovah) purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man (Jesus) whom he (Jehovah) has appointed, and he (Jehovah) has provided a guarantee to all men by resurrecting him (Jesus) from the dead." Now when they heard of a resurrection of the dead, some began to scoff, while others said: "We will hear you again about this." So Paul left them, but some men joined him and became believers. Among them were Dionysius, who was a judge of the court of the Areopagus, and a woman named Damaris, and others besides them."" Isn't it wonderful that death is not the end of things, but Jehovah has provided us with the resurrection? For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. John 17:3 I pray you will find comfort reading the above scriptures in your personal Bible and to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled “Keep Your Eyes on the Prize” https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODChildren/pub-pksn_24_VIDEO or see JW.ORG. and search comfort. If you had the opportunity to see your dead loved ones again, alive and in perfect health here on earth, would you take it? Of course, we all would! The Bible says we will!!! If so, please watch this short, faith strengthening video: “Can The Dead Really Live Again?” https://vimeo.com/198452977 You are in my prayers during this difficult time.
