Betty  Jane  Wolley,  74,  of  Fort Pierce, FL  passed  away on Tuesday  April  4,  2017 at Treasure Coast Hospice.

 She  was  born  on  November 14, 1942 in Louisa, VA and has been a resident of  Saint Lucie County for over twenty two years.

 Betty was retired from Western Electric/AT&T where she was an electric inspector.

 She was a member of First Bethel Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully as head Church Mother, Mother’s and Deaconess’ Society and Sunday School Teacher.     

 Betty survivors include her husband, Therman Wolley of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Michael Wolley of Indianapolis, IN;  daughter, Tonia Ramey of Maryland; sister, Ann Richardson of Bouie, MD; nine  grandchildren  and  thirteen great-grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her son, Tony Wallace;  daughter,  Boneca Wolley; parents, Gladys Jackson and Elmore Jackson; brother, Jimmie Jackson and other siblings.

 Visitation will be held 2 to 6PM Friday April 14,  2017 at First Bethel Missionary Baptist Church,  506 North 11th Street and Avenue D, Fort Pierce.  A funeral service will be held 11AM Saturday April 15,  2017  at  First Bethel Missionary Baptist Church,  506 North 11th Street and Avenue D, Fort Pierce.  Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
