To The Family, Almighty God created us to live, not to die. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, "He has put eternity in their heart(our)." We die because we are imperfect, but God promises a resurrection of our dear loved ones. Revelation 21:4 says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." May this scripture comfort you.

I wanted to express my sympathies to the Reese family. I'm so sorry for your loss. During difficult times like this, we all need comfort. That comfort can come from the Bible, through prayer, from family and friends. But the ultimate source of comfort comes from Almighty God, Jehovah. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 speaks, in part, of "the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." It considers how God provides such comfort. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/watchtower-no5-2016-september/#?insight[search_id]=15989af5-9867-4eca-b8d5-029765b2874e&insight[search_result_index]=1

I am very sorry for your loss. However, Almighty God has provided a guarantee of a resurrection to all people in His memory by resurrecting Jesus from the dead. (Psalm 83:18; Acts 17:31) We will be able to see our loved ones again on a restored earth. (Psalm 37:11, 29) I hope this brings you peace.
