I know it's hard losing someone you love in death, but the memories of that love one, will last forever in your heart and mind. May you find comfort in the scripture which speaks of God, being the God of all comfort who never intended for anyone to fall asleep in death. It's also comforting to know that your loved one is also remembered by God, such a wonderful provision. - 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 May this article provide you some comfort: https://www.jw.org/finder?pub=wp16&issue=201609&wtlocale=E&srcid=share

Dear Dozier family, I wanted to send you my deepest sympathies. So sorry for your loss. I can sympathize with the hurt and emptiness of heart you are feeling. Death has been an enemy to each of us, taking those we love so dearly. Soon there will be no more pain, illnesses, or death to cause so much grief, for the Bibles' promises are so fulfilling and gives us a beautiful hope for the future. 1 Peter 5:7 assures us that "Almighty God cares for us." So soon He will undo the effects of suffering, sickness, mourning, wickedness, and will "swallow up death forever." (Isaiah 25:8;Revelation 21:4)

I am very sorry for your loss. However, Almighty God has provided a guarantee of a resurrection to all people in His memory by resurrecting Jesus from the dead. (Psalm 83:18; Acts 17:31) We will be able to see our loved ones again on a restored earth. (Psalm 37:11, 29) I hope this brings you peace.
