I would like to offer my condolences to the Heard family. 91 years is quite an accomplishment according to the Bible (Psalm 90:10) and I know Beulah has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. Hopefully this scripture will give you comfort because Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18) is promising us he will do away with man's worst enemy, death. This is found for us at Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." The Bible also enlightens us at Hebrews 2:14 "so that through his (Jesus) death, he (Jesus) might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil." For more comforting scriptures please visit: It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matthew 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. John 6: 40 tells us: "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day." Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago. Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." This is a wonderful promise made to us by our heavenly father and I pray it brings you comfort and hope. Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Again, I offer my sincere condolences to the family. I want to offer my condolences to the Heard family and friends. We know that it is a painful thing to lose a love one in death- regardless of how long they have lived. Even Jesus gave way to tears when Lazarus died. It pains our creator, too. He calls death an enemy that will be removed forever(1 Corinthians 15:26). He has promise to bring back to life all our love ones in the memorial tombs__ Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will rise ...Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust! ...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life" then "he will swallow up death forever …"(Isaiah 25:8). I hope these words give you all comfort.

I am sorry for your loss. I know this is a hard time for your family so I wanted to share a comforting scripture with you. Isaiah 25:8 tells about a time when death will be done away with. We wouldn't have to worry about our loved ones dying. My heart goes out to the family and I hope y'all find strength and comfort.
