Mr. Josef Colin Nash was born May 1, 1993 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, North Carolina.  He was the son of Rodney Ervin Nash and Teresa Ann Edgar Nash.

Josef was a graduate of Forestview High School in Gastonia, North Carolina “Class of 2011”.  A huge lover of sports, his favorite teams were Los Angeles Rams, the Carolina Tarheels, Los Angeles Lakers and the USC Trojans.  In his past time, he enjoyed anything to do with Honda Civics, video games, cooking, spending time with family and friends.  Anyone who came in contact with Josef was immediately drawn to his smile and humbling spirit.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lillie Bell and Robert Earl Nash; two uncles, Robert Lee Nash and Rodney Edgar; one aunt, Rose Marie Raymond

He leaves to cherish fond memories his parents, Rodney and Teresa Nash of the home; sister, Kronsa Nash of Gastonia, N.C.; one brother, Michael O’Brien of Texas; maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Charles Niemeier of Woodville, TX and Franklin and Docia Edgar of Texas; nieces, Keilan Nash of Gastonia, N.C.; a host of other relatives and friends.

Thursday, April 20, 2017 @ 1:00 P.M.

The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to funeral
(12 Noon until 1:00 P.M.)
