Mrs. Freddie M,. Moffett, 87, of 609 25th Court, Phenix City, AL passed Thursday, April 20, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon EST, Friday, April 28, 2017 at Phillips Temple CME Church with Rev. Gregory Scott, pastor, officiating; Rev. William Larkin, eulogist. Burial will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 3 - 8 p.m. EST.

Mrs. Moffett was born August 28, 1929 in Lee County, AL to the late Henry Jones and the late Lucille Madden. She was a member of Phillips Temple CME Church.

Survivors include two sons, Eddie J. Moffett of Phenix City, AL and Hugh (Sharon) Moffett of Columbus, GA; two daughters, Annell Moffett of Phenix City, AL and Edna Gardner of Fayetteville, NC; two brothers, Walter Jones and Daryel Jones of Cincinnati, OH; one sister, Lavenia (Ernest) Battle of Lorain, OH; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
