I want to offer my condolences to the Moore family and friends. It is a painful thing to lose a love one in death. Even Jesus gave way to tears when Lazarus died(John 11:35).Take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father knows your pain. He calls death an enemy and promised to remove it forever__ 1Corinthians 15:26 “The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” He also promised to awaken our love ones from asleep in death. Notice how this is beautifully expressed at Isaiah 26:19 “ Your dead will rise ...Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust! ...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Let these promises from our loving Father keep comforting all of you.

When we lose someone in death, it seems our world is sent in spirals. The pain, the grief, and the feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable. At such times, we need to go to God's Word for comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) The Bible helps us to understand how Jehovah and Jesus feel about death. It also shows that Jehovah really will defeat our enemy death, and it will be gone forever! (Isaiah 25:8) I hope you find comfort in the Bible.
