A Summary of Life

 March 9, 1960 - April 14, 2017

Teresa Luetrel Hatcher-Frazier, was born March 9, 1960 to the parents of the late Sergeant First Class (SFC) Frank D. Hatcher Sr. (preceded her in death) and Elvenia Stokes Hatcher in Quitman, Georgia. At a very young age, the family moved to Miami, Florida where she earned her primary and secondary education in the Miami Dade County Schools System. In 1977, she graduated from Miami Edison Senior High School and continued her higher education at Miami Dade Community College where she received an Associate's Degree. Teresa gave her life to Christ at a very young age, and she joined St. Mathew Freewill Baptist Church. In In 1973, she started her career working at Jackson Memorial Hospital, she further her career by moving on to North Shore Medical Center. Later in life she continued her career in the medical field with Bell and Aries Medical Associates. After the retirement of Dr. Aries, she found her passion and became a teacher at Concorde Career Institute of Miami, FL, where she taught Medical Office Administration. During this time, she became an entrepreneur and started her own Medical Billing and Coding Services. In her final days, she continued with her passion as a teacher at ABC Enrichment Center where she taught the little apples of her eyes. 1975, she met the love of her life, Edwin Leon Frazier. They dated and in June 1985, they were united in holy matrimony, and from this union, they were blessed with three wonderful children, Trevares, Ebonee, and Joy. She had a niece, Takeitha Davis and a greatnephew JayKeith Davis who she took under her wings as her own. Teresa had a love out of this world for everyone she met, but especially for all of her nieces and nephews as if they were her own.

On April 14, 2017 at 1:10 a.m., Teresa quietly exchanged time here on earth for eternal life with her heavenly father. Left to celebrate her life, legacy, and memories are her beloved husband Edwin Leon Frazier; devoted children, Takeitha Davis, Trevares Frazier, Ebonee Frazier, Joy Frazier, and JayKeith Davis; grandson Lliam Weldeab ; mother Elvenia Hatcher of Quitman, GA; two brothers Frank Hatcher, Jr. of Killeen, TX., and Ellis Hatcher of Quitman, GA.; one sister Elise Jackson of Quitman, GA.; mother in law Eufaula Frazier Of Miami, FL.; aunts Eliza Cole, Carrie Stokes, Kathleen Watkins, Dorothy Larkins, Gladys White, Iona Smith, Maxiel Thomas; uncles Marvin Jenkins Sr., Lucious Smith; ; two brother in laws Maurice Frazier, Noland (Debbie) Frazier Sr.; one sister in law Michelle Frazier; one great aunt Cora Lee Neloms; First generation nieces and nephews SFC. Frank (Angelic) Hatcher, III; Takeitha (James) Davis; Noland (Julie) Frazier, Jr.: Margette (Nathaniel) Stovall; Sheria (Osaiah) Young; Fakeya Hatcher; Tacovia (Dion) Woods; Roshonda (Albert) Booker; Xavier (Marquisha) Hatcher; Courtney Hatcher; Antawn Hatcher; Roosevelt Jackson, [r: Malissa Frazier; Yuric (Vernetta) Hatcher; Dante Hatcher; Ya'Donis (Ericka) Hatcher; Martavis Frazier; Markiva Frazier; Tajai Hatcher; Thirty-six grand-nieces and nephews; one greatgrandniece; a God-granddaughter Ivory Longshore; two special friends Dr. Luis Aries, and Diane Varin; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 3PM at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop Wilburt Randall, eulogist.  Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday at the Stevens-McGhee Chapel from 5PM until 8PM.
