My sincere condolences to the family during this time of loss. Even Jesus wept at the loss of a loved one. I have found comfort in the scriptural promise at Rev 21:3, 4 and I pray you will as well.

It is a painful thing to lose a precious love one in death, especially when one is so young. Even Jesus wept when Lazarus died(John 11:35) and it pains our creator, too. Our Creator did not purposed his human family to get sick, grow old, and die but purposed us to live and enjoy life. It is still his purpose. He calls death an enemy that will be removed forever__1 Corinthians 15:26, “ the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing”; Sickness will be a thing of the past( Isaiah 33:24); and He promise to awaken our love one from asleep in death__ Hosea 13:14, “From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them.” Allow these words to keep comforting all of you.

After I read about Kevin's recent death after just 39 short years of precious life, I wanted to express my feelings of sympathy for Wendy and the Smith family and friends. I know Kevin has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Most of us have seen this enemy death claim the lives of people dear to us. But Jehovah God promises to destroy this enemy, death, once and for all. Rev. 21: 4; tells us: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Isaiah 25: 8, 1 Corinthians 15: 26) Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." The Bible also enlightens us at Hebrews 2:14b "so that through his (Jesus) death, he (Jesus) might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection (John 5: 28, John 6: 40, John 11:23-25) I offer my sincere condolences to the family. Feel free to contact me at my email address: myranj@centurytel.net I pray it will do your heart good to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize" https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODChildren/pub-pksn_24_VIDEO
