My sincere condolences to the family during this time of loss. Even Jesus wept at the loss of a loved one. I have found comfort in the scriptural promise at Rev 21:3, 4 and I pray you will as well.

My heart aches for Shaynecia and the Mifflin family to lose recently in death your precious loved one Cedric after just 27 way too short years, way too young, way too soon. When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes much sadness and grief. Words are so limited that can give comfort, so I would like to share with you a beautiful scripture where Jesus makes us a wonderful promise at John 5:28, which says: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." . Our heavenly father promises us to do away with man's worst enemy, death at Rev. 21: 4 which reads: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. The Bible also enlightens us at Hebrews 2:14b "so that through his (Jesus) death, he (Jesus) might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. John 6:40 Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. I offer my sincere condolences to the family. Feel free to contact me at my email address: myranj@centurytel.net May these promises give you hope, comfort and peace in your time of grief. I pray it will do your heart good to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize" https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODChildren/pub-pksn_24_VIDEO

I have you in my thoughts since it is the one year anniversary of your precious Cedric's death. I will keep the Mifflin, Sanders family in my prayers. I'm quite sure this past year has been difficult adjusting without your precious, Cedric. Words are so limited that can give comfort, so I would like to share with you beautiful scripture where our loving heavenly Father, (Psalm 83:18), wants you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 34:18 None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. Our precious savior, Jesus, promises us at John 6: 40; “For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day”. And again at: John 5: 28; “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…” And also at John 11:23-25; “Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life.” The one who exercises faith in me, even tho he dies, will come to life.” I pray that Jesus’s promise to reunite us with our loved ones on resurrection day will carry you through the difficult days ahead and gradually replace your tears of grief with tears of joy as you reflect on your precious memories of happier times with Cedric. Job asked at Job 14:14; “If a man dies, can he live again?” Job answers at Job 14:15; “You (Jehovah) will call and I will answer.” Just like Job, we can have confidence in the resurrection hope. Acts 17:31-34 tells us: Because he (Jehovah) has set a day on which he (Jehovah) purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man (Jesus) whom he (Jehovah) has appointed, and he (Jehovah) has provided a guarantee to all men by resurrecting him (Jesus) from the dead." Now when they heard of a resurrection of the dead, some began to scoff, while others said: "We will hear you again about this." So Paul left them, but some men joined him and became believers. Among them were Dionysius, who was a judge of the court of the Areopagus, and a woman named Damaris, and others besides them."" Isn't it wonderful that death is not the end of things, but Jehovah has provided us with the resurrection? For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. John 17:3 I pray you will find comfort reading the above scriptures in your personal Bible and to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled “Keep Your Eyes on the Prize” https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODChildren/pub-pksn_24_VIDEO or see JW.ORG. and search comfort. If you had the opportunity to see your dead loved ones again, alive and in perfect health here on earth, would you take it? Of course, we all would! The Bible says we will!!! If so, please watch this short, faith strengthening video: “Can The Dead Really Live Again?” https://vimeo.com/198452977 You are in my prayers during this difficult time. Also: We warmly invite you to attend this year’s three-day convention presented by Jehovah’s Witnesses. Theme: “Be Courageous!” Public Bible Discourse: Find out why Jesus told a grieving father: “Have no fear.” (Mark 5:36) Listen to the Bible-based talk to be presented on Sunday morning with the theme “The Resurrection Hope Imparts Courage—How?” Friday, August 3, 2018 – Sunday, August 5, 2018 or Friday, August 10, 2018 – Sunday, August 12, 2018 Columbus Civic Center 400 4th St Columbus GA 31901-3247 Mark your calendar NOW and please prepare to come. You won’t be charged admission, and NO COLLECTIONS ARE EVER TAKEN You will receive spiritual encouragement to help prepare you for the time ahead adjusting without your loved one, Cedric. Sincerely, With Christian Love, Myran Julie Jarmon (myranj@centurytel.net)
