Funeral services for Mr. Richard Corley, 66, of 56 Cherry Street Barnwell, SC  will be held 12:00 Noon Monday, May 22, 2017 at Allendale Community Funeral Home with Reverend Audrey Lofton officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Branch Cemetery.

Mr. Richard Corley, Sr. was born in Allendale, South Carolina on December 10, 1950 to the late Eugene Corley and the late Alease Wright Corley.

He was educated in the Allendale County School system.  He attended Denmark Technical College where he studied air conditioning and refrigeration. He served in the United States Army for many years until his separation. At an early age he joined Simpson United Methodist Church.  Richard enjoyed watching sports, western movies and his favorite show “The Price is Right”.

Richard passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Allendale County Hospital.

Richard leaves to cherish his fond memories: his wife, Mayola Corley; a daughter, Kartina Corley; three sons: Richard D. (Marshette) Corley, Steven (Termelra) Corley, and Kevin (Kimberly) Corley all of Charlotte, NC; two brothers: Terry (Sharon) Corley of Allendale, SC and Harry (Rose) Corley of Atlanta, GA; two sisters: Gloria (Cornelius) Edwards of Hardeeville, SC and Bendoris (Clifford) White of Columbia, SC; 15 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home

Friends may call at the residence of his brother, Terry Corley at 1218 Barnwell Hwy Allendale or at the funeral home.
