Funeral services for Mrs. Pearlene Mole, 76, of 209 Gum Street Allendale, SC will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Rizer Chapel United Methodist Church, Ehrhardt, SC  with Reverend Stanley Ritter, officiating. Burial will follow in the New Bethel #5 Holiness Church Cemetery, Ruffin, SC.

She was born Pearlene Mingo, to the late John Wesley Mingo and Annie Folk Mingo, on January 1, 1941 in Colleton County, South Carolina. She departed this earthly life on May 19, 2017 at the Colleton Regional Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joshua.

She united herself with the Rizer Chapel United Methodist Church at an early age and worshipped there until a decline in her health.  She served as an usher for several years. On September 27, 1963 she was united in Holy Matrimony to Harold Mole, Jr. and to this union two sons were born.

During her early life, she worked as a seamstress for different manufacturing companies in the Allendale area. Pearl was a very strong willed individual, who did things her way. (Cheryl) Mole of Allendale, SC; she was sister to Molly Mingo, Anne Troy, and Jettie (Leon) Harden all of Allendale, SC; sisters-in-law: Mary Jane Mole of Florida, Carrie Priester of Rock Hill, SC and Carolyn (Rob) Eady of Walterboro, SC; brothers-in-law: Harry Lee (Evelyn) Mole of Allendale, SC, Leonard (Deloris) Mole of Augusta, GA; Adolph (Cynthia) Mole of Blackville, SC, Lynn Mole and Harry Priester both of Hampton, SC; grandchildren: Tawana, Kané, Jared, Chaz, Enterick, Whitney, George and Lashay (Jeffery); great grandchildren: Jaide, Tavion, Talyah, Chayse, London, Jeffery Jr., and Kingsley; two aunts, Inez Lewis of Brooklyn, NY and Hazel Smalls of NY; two special friends: Connie Flowers and Linda Brown; and a host of loving and devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 2 -7 p.m. at the funeral home.
