I'm sorry to hear about your loss. May you find strength reading Psalms 46:1 which says: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress." What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.

To my Mom, Sarah Matthews, my Aunts Ana Lee, Caletha Powell, Janie Bannister, and Redetha; to my cousins Prentice Terrell Matthews and Cameron Dion Matthews and to Ms. Peggy... my deepest sympathy and condolences goes out to you all. My fearless family, may you find peace and comfort in the mighty arms of our Lord and Savior. I have wonderful memories of my Uncle Harvey that I will deeply cherish. I was blessed, last year to have sat down @ my mom's church and shared a meal and laughs with Uncle. R.I.Paradise my dear Uncle Harvey. I will always remember your smile, kind words and love. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. To the Matthews family ... you are in my prayers as you mourn the loss of a talented man of God. As a child at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Turkey - I was fascinated by Mr. Matthews' abilities on the piano. I had never before, nor since, seen a musician play with the sides of their hands.... May his fond memories keep you lifted!
