Ms. Sherry Ann Stewart, 59

Sherry Ann Stewart was born in Thomasville, Georgia on July 27, 1966 to the late Ethel Mae Stewart and Elbert Williams Sr. She was called home to glory on May 25, 2017 at her residence in Pavo, Georgia.


Sherry attended Thomas County Schools in Thomasville. She joined Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Pavo at an early age. Sherry was a dedicated employee of Walmart in Moultrie, Georgia for 16 years. She was a humorous, loving, and caring person.


Sherry leaves to cherish her memories the love of her life, Charles King, Pavo, GA; mother-in-law, Grace King, Pavo, GA; two daughters, Tisha Stewart (Emanuel), Thomasville, GA, and Vicki Blangor (Daniel), Pavo, GA; one son, Dairious Stewart (Lakenya), Thomasville, GA; six sisters; Teresa Stewart, Pavo, GA, Donnie Stewart, Marjorie Tripp, Vallie Jolly (Rev. Rufus), Precious Ivey (William), Teretha Anderson (Gene) all of Moultrie, GA; six brothers; Terry Stewart (Susie), Pavo, GA, Elbert Williams Jr (Josephine), Ochlocknee, GA, Roberti Williams (Gloria), Leroy Williams, Sylvester Williams (Trina) all of Moultrie, GA; nine grandchildren; special cousin Cynthia Thomas-Henry and devoted friends Janice Brooks and Carolyn Richardson.


Funeral services were Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Pavo, Georgia with Rev. Horace Holloway III officiating. Burial followed in the Reedy Creek Cemetery in Pavo. Condolences may be made by visiting  Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
