Death is but a deep sleep, only God can awaken those who fall into that sleep. God knows and feels for you and your family during this time of bereavement. My prayers are with the Smith family and friends

I'm truly sorry to hear about your recent loss. It is a very difficult time for those close to Betty. May you find some comfort in the words of Nahum 1:7 which reads: "Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of those seeking refuge in him." Yes, we can totally rely on our Loving God. He also has made the sure promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29, Isaiah 55:11). Then death will be gone forever (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:3,4) Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG

Our heartfelt condolences to the Smith family! Our earnest petition is that you gain comfort from the reminder that the ransom makes possible the resurrection of the dead. Our loving Heavenly Father will bring them back to life and give them an opportunity to learn about his purpose for them and to gain everlasting life. (Acts 24:15). May your faith help you envision a joyous reunion with Betty when she will enjoy perfect health of both body and mind.
