A homegoing celebration in honor of Mr Edward Allen Green will be held Saturday at 10 am at  New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Clevon Dukes, Pastor will deliver the eulogy.  Mr. Green known to his family and friends as Allen departed this life June 9th 2017 at Jameson Hospital in New Castle. Allen was born April 12, 1951 in Wheatland, a son of Albert and Georgia Sanders Green. He was a graduate of Debra Canon Wolf High School and relocated to the Shenango Valley many years ago.  He was formerly employed with Industrial Cleaning in Youngstown, and  Gibbs Hauling in Farrell. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children,
Allenia, Sarah and Edward Allen Leflore, Edward Allen Green Jr., Una and Kiara Green, Timothy Crawford; his siblings, Georgia Ann Coleman, Rebecca Green, Amy Johnson, Teresa Kitt Kirkland(Robert),Eartha,Sandra (Anthony) and Alberta Kitt, Deidra Porter, Angela McIntyre (Gregory)Larry (Vera), David and Andrew Green; 24 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren,; a host of other relatives and dear friends. 
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Mary Alice Green, his step grandmother, Mattie Green; his  parents; his step mother, Sarah Kitt; his brothers, Albert "Junebug" Sanders, John Henry Green; his sister, Mary Allen Green; and a host of aunts, uncles and a great-niece.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

    I'm sorry to hear about your loss. May you find strength from the words of Psalms 34:18. It reads: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Our loving God is there for us in times like this. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
