MR. CLAUDE SUVASTA LYNCH – Age 89, of Ringgold, Georgia and formerly of Detroit, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017.   He was born on October 17, 1927 in Campbell, Virginia to the late Pleasant Lynch, Sr. and Mary Freeman Lynch.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Leona Bentley, brothers, Pleasant Lynch, Jr., Emmanuel Lynch, and daughter, Adrienne Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Linda K. Lynch of Ringgold, Georgia; children, Kathleen (Harold) Renfore, Michael Lynch, Roderick Lynch, Ivory Brown, and Yolanda Smith-Powell, of Detroit, Michigan; grandchildren, great grandchildren; sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives; close friends, Freddie Jones, and the Mount Peria Church Family.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Mount Peria Baptist Church, 341 Sparks Street, Ringgold, Georgia with Pastor Edward Ellis, III as Eulogist and Pastor Jimmy Ingram officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.  Interment, Chattanooga National Cemetery.  Please share your thoughts and memories of Mr. Claude Suvasta Lynch at www.willisfuneralhomedalton.com.  Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.

    I'm sorry to hear about your loss. May you find strength from the words of Psalms 46:1 which reads: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress." What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
