MRS. GEORGIA TARVER DWIGHT WASHINGTON MILLER – Age 103, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at her residence.  She was retired from Hamilton Medical Center after 20 years of service, was lifelong member of Hopewell Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt Miller, parents, Dan and Mamie Tibbs Dwight, two sisters, and four brothers.

She is survived by her three loving children, Helen Harris, Betty (Tommy) Macon, and James R. (Pauline) Washington, Sr. of Dalton, Georgia; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; sixteen great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Vivian McMichael; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Hopewell Baptist Church, Airport Road, Dalton, Georgia, with Elder Windell Smith and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Interment, Hopewell Cemetery.     I am sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences.
