Dear Hartzog family, you all have my sympathy. The death of a loved one causes us deep pain. At Jeremiah 31:13, Almighty God has promised, "I will change their mourning into exultation. I will comfort them and give them joy instead of their grief." No doubt you look forward to the fulfillment of that promise. Until then, you can fully rely on "the God of tender mercies and the God of all comfort" to give you the strength and endurance to cope during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3)

I am so sorry for your loss. Although your heart are filled with pain and sorrow, my prayer is that you gain comfort and hope from God promise to reunite us with loved ones on earth, never having to say good-bye again. Please read John 5:28,29. For Jesus will make this earth the problem-free paradise that his father intended it to be. I have gained comfort and strength from this promise, may your family do the same. For more information go to www.jw.org.

To The Family, At Job 14:14, Job asked the question, "If a man dies, can he live again?..." He answers that question in verse 15, "You (Jehovah) will call and I will answer you." Job had confidence in the resurrection hope and we can too (John 5: 28,29). Jesus is the resurrection and the life. Jesus brings this point out at John 11:25. We can be thankful that Almighty God has given Jesus the authority to bring our dear loved ones back from the grave. Please allow the resurrection hope to comfort you.

I am truly sorry for your loss. However, John 5:25 says “the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live”. Those who have died and are in God’s memory will be resurrected to a restored earth and have a hope of everlasting life. (Psalm 37:11, 29) I hope this brings you peace.

To the family of Mr. F. Hartzog: Please accept my condolences, and may these words from the scriptures bring you comfort. At John 5:28,29; Jesus tell us that "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." And Rev. 21:3,4 gives assurance that death is to be done away with. John 3:16 tells us how we can be a part of this grand opportunity to live on a paradise cleansed earth. www.jw.org
