My sympathies to the Godfrey family. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's no way to really describe the pain one feels when he or she loses a loved one in death. Feelings of sadness and grief can be so overwhelming during this time of mourning. However, comfort from the scriptures can give you hope. John 5:28,29 speaks of the promise of the resurrection hope. What this can mean for your family is a real hope of being reunited with your dead loved ones at a time when "death will be no more." (Revelation 21:4) May the God of all comfort be with you during this difficult time.

To the Family and Friends of Annie Ruth Godfrey: Please accept my expressions of sympathy in the loss of your dear love one. May the God of all comfort provide you with strength in this most difficult time (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). God promises that soon He will remove all causes of pain, suffering, and death (Revelation 21:3,4). We know that Almighty Jehovah God has not only the power but also yearns to fulfill this promise. Until that time, may you find comfort in this promise and treasure the special memories you shared.

Please accept my condolences. I am sorry to hear of your loss. When we lose a loved one in death, we may become overwhelmed by grief. The Bible tells us that Jesus wept when his dear friend Lazarus died. Yet, just minutes later Jesus preformed an astounding miracle--raised Lazarus back to life! John 11:32-44. In doing so Jesus gave all mankind solid ground for faith in the amazing promise he made earlier in his ministry when he said: "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." [John 5:28,29]. May the hope of a resurrection to ;life on a paradise earth comfort you. Acts 24:15. www,jw.org
