Connie Ann Cassine departed this earthly life on July 14, 2017 into her eternal life in the hands of God surrounded by her loving family and close friends around her bedside. She was an active and faithful member of New Light Baptist Church for over 20 years serving as Vice President of the usher board and worked on other ministries within the church; Devoted and affectionate mother to Trichelle Alexander, fiancé Paul Micken Jr., Edward (Trenise) Rose and Chase Cassine. Loving grandmother to Tatum Calvin, Paul Micken III and Edward Rose, Jr. Sister to Charles (Donna) Alexander III of Texas and Derrick (Ann) Washington of Virginia, Diane Jackson of Virginia and Johnny (Priscilla) Rickmon Jr. Nieces and Nephews: Michelle Howie of Virginia, Wesley (Tannisha) Alexander of Texas, La Keachia Washington of Lacey, Washington, Janell Rickmon, Jeremy Rickmon, Jaleel Rickmon, Johnny Rickmon III and La Toya Rickmon. Everlasting friendship with her former mother-in-law Althea Martin; Also survived by a host of great-nieces and nephews, family members and friends. Relatives and friends of the family and the staff of Ochsner Foundation Hospital, Cox Communications, Saks Fifth Avenue, Resources for Human Development, Metropolitan Human Services District, University Medical Cancer Center, Outpatient Physical Therapy, Good Samaritan Rehab and Nursing Facility and Canon Hospice are all invited to join us for a Celebration of Life at New Light Baptist Church,1435 Feliciana Street New Orleans, La 70117 on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 10 AM Rev. Gregory Davis, officiating. Interment Providence Park Cemetery 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70003. Visitation 9 AM IN THE CHURCH.
