I truly feel for your loss. This is such a difficult time. There isn't much that can soothe your pain, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG

To The Grieving Family of Mr. Tony A. Davis..... A message of Solace at The Time of Your Lost of a Loved One………… Many Wonder: Is There Any Hope for the Dead? WHY THE QUESTION ARISES: We want to live, and we want to enjoy life with those we love. It is only natural that we yearn to see our dead loved ones again. WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES: Most people who have died will be resurrected. Jesus promised that “those in the memorial tombs will . . . come out.” (John 5:28, 29) In harmony with God’s original purpose, those resurrected as humans will have the opportunity to live on a paradise earth. (Luke 23:43) This promised future includes perfect health and everlasting life for obedient humans. The Bible says: “The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it.”—Psalm 37:29. Isn’t this wonderful news! To think, our lost loved ones will have an opportunity for ”Eternal Life” on Paradise Earth at this Resurrection. It is my sincere hope that these words/this knowledge helps to sustain you, your family during your Bereavement… See also Job 14:14, 15; Luke 7:11-17; and Acts 24:15.
