I am sorry for your loss. Death is always a painful event for us all. However Jehovah offers us comfort in the Bible at Isaiah 25:8. I always find this scripture to be of encouragement. Jehovah promises to do away with death and all things that bring us pain. How satisfying that will be. May joyful memories fill your minds and hearts through this difficult time.

The Thompson family and loved ones of precious little Ivan have my deepest sympathy. No other pain will ever be greater than the pain of losing a child. Isaiah 66:13a says: “As a mother comforts her son, so I (Jehovah Psalm 83:18) will keep comforting you.” Revelations 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on Him and He will sustain you in your time of grief. (Psalm 34:18) (2 Corinthians 4:18) "while we keep our eyes, not on the things seen, but on the things unseen. For the things seen are temporary, but the things unseen are everlasting." KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE 1. When eyes of blind ones see again And ears of deaf ones hear again, When deserts blossom as the rose And from parched ground fresh water flows, When lame ones leap just like the hart, When loved ones never have to part, Such blessed times you’ll realize, If you keep your eyes on the prize. 2. When tongues of mute ones speak again, When old ones will be young again, When earth will yield her rich increase And all good things will never cease, When songs of children fill the air, When joy and peace are ev’rywhere, Then, too, you’ll see the dead arise, If you keep your eyes on the prize. 3. When wolves and lambs will feed as one, When bears and calves bask in the sun, A mere young boy will lead them all, And they will heed his childish call. When tears belong to yesterday, When fears and pain have passed away, You’ll see how God these things supplies, If you keep your eyes on the prize. I pray it will bring you comfort to please watch this beautiful video (Song 144) entitled "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize" Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." For more comforting scriptures please visit: It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you.

We were so sorry to read about the loss of your sweet baby Ivan. We know that words can not ease your pain, but you can have faith that God has a plan for us to see our loved ones again on a paradise earth. At John 5:28 & 29 Jesus promises us, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life..." And at Isaiah 33:24 we are promised, “And no resident will say: ‘I am sick‘”. God‘s word offers us so much comfort. We invite you to visit where you will find many Bible based publications that will answer your questions and offer you support. Please feel free to contact us as well. May "the God of all comfort" (2 Cor. 1:3) be with you at this time.

You have my deepest heartfelt condolences. It is so hard to lose a child, but look to Almighty God, family and friends, for strength and support to carry you through this. (Psalm 83:18; Isa. 41:10) Keep his happy memories close to your heart. And keep your head up. Acts 24:15 says “there is going to be a resurrection”.  We will be able to see and hold Ivan again on a restored earth. (Psalm 37:11, 29) I hope this brings you peace.

My most heartfelt sympathies to the Thompson family. I am so very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is the most devastating event anyone could experience, especially one so young and precious as Ivan. The loss of a child is heartbreaking, and I can only imagine the grief you are experiencing right now. You can rest assured that God doesn't take away our dear loved ones in order for them to be with Him in heaven. (James 1:13) He is a God of love, so he wouldn't cause us pain or suffering. But when tragedies like these happen, Jehovah, "the God of tender mercies and the God of all comfort," promises to help us endure, and He will do the same for your family. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) He is aware of the feelings you have, and Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds." Almighty God sees your sadness, and He will provide comfort and hope to help you endure now and in the days to come. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
