I know the Leigh family and friends have saddened hearts because of losing Todd recently in death. So I want to share beautiful scripture where our heavenly Father, Jehovah, (Psalm 83:18) promises us that he is going to do away with man's greatest enemy, death. Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God Jehovah understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. ." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. (Psalm 34:18) For more comforting scriptures please visit: It has provided me with many more scriptures that have given me comfort, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises here on earth, (Psalm 37:9-11, 29)including the resurrection. (John 5: 28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25, Acts 24:15, Titus 1:2) Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." It is my prayer these scriptures will give you comfort in your grief. Again, I offer my sincere condolences to the family. Feel free to contact me if you wish at my email address: I pray it will bring you comfort to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize"

To The Family, God never intended for man to suffer the pain of death. 1 Corinthians 15:26 says, "And the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing." Almighty God is going to remove death forever. What a wonderful future hope. Take comfort in knowing this. Please look forward to the fulfillment of Revelation 21:3,4. Please be assured Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) will comfort you during this most difficult time.

Please accept my condolences during this time of distress. While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Todd, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will continue to reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. This happens when we experience the loss of someone loved. However, take comfort in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. The difference is, God can and will restore perfect life to those in His memory as explained in the faith strengthening video *

My sympathies to the Leigh family. I am very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is the most devastating experience we could endure. This is not what God purposed for us, but because of the world we live in, it is too common to lose our dear loved ones in death. There is a hope for the future. One day God will undo death, the effects that it causes, and the pain that it leaves with us. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you,’ declares Jehovah, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope." Almighty God wants nothing more than to give us a future and a hope- that is, a future where "death will be no more," and a hope of being reunited with our dear loved ones we have lost in death. (Revelation 21:4; John 5:28,29)

My condolences to the Leigh family and friends. May it comfort you to know that Jesus liken death to sleep (John 11-14) (1 Cor. 15:6) (Acts 7:60). A long time ago, a servant of God named Job asked: “If a man dies, can he live again?” (Job 14:14) Job had faith in Jehovah God's (Psalm 83:18) power to resurrect him back to life. Job was confident that Jehovah would miss him and would long to restore him to life (Job 14:13,15). Job and countless others who are resurrected have the prospect of regaining "his youthful vigor" and his flesh will forever remain "fresher than in youth"(Job 33:24,25) We can appreciate God's wonderful, merciful provision of a resurrection to life on earth.
