To the family, my condolences for your loss. May you find a measure of comfort in the Bible's promise of the resurrection (Acts 24:15). Jesus says at John 5: 28, 29 Those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out.

I just read about the recent death of Anthony and I know the Norwood family and loved ones have saddened hearts today. So I wanted to share beautiful scripture where our heavenly father, Jehovah, (Psalm 83:18), promises us that he is going to do away with man's greatest enemy, death. Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25, Acts 24:15) Our savior, Jesus, believed in and taught that there would be a future resurrection of our dead loved ones, on the last day, because he knew he was the one that would be doing the resurrecting! Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. John 17:3 Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Psalm 34:18 It is my prayer this scripture will give you comfort in your grief. If you feel up to contacting me, my email address is: myranj@centurytel.net I pray it will bring you comfort to please watch this beautiful video (Song 144) entitled "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize" https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODChildren/pub-pksn_24_VIDEO or watch this faith strengthening video entitled: "Can The Dead Really Live Again?" https://vimeo.com/232445509

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. May you find strength from the words of Psalms 34:18. It reads Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Our loving God is there for us in times like this. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.

To the family and friends of the deceased, Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Many have found true comfort from the pages of God's word the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:3-5}. The Bible tells us why we die (Genesis 2:16, 17; Romans 5:12) the condition of the dead (Ecclesiastes 9:5) and that we can be reunited with our loved ones (Acts 24:15). The Bible also tells us where this happy event will take place (Psalm 37:29; 115:16). The promise from the God of the Bible Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) found at Revelation 21:3, 4 gives us the assurance that death will be no more. At John 17:3 Jesus tells us the benefit of reading and studying the Bible. He also said at John 8:32 “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free". Please visit JW.org to learn what the Bible really teaches.
