To family and friends, I know how difficult this time must be for you. May the light from God's Word the Bible be a guide and comfort you through the darkness of your loss. When the time permits please read from your Bible... John 5:28 &29 which gives a promise of the resurrection. And Revelation 21:4,5 assures us that pain and death will be no more. We can have faith in what the Bible says because the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) who promised it cannot lie. (Titus 1:2)

May precious memories of your loved one help in coping with your sadness. And also, the God of all comfort, Jehovah God, may he too be a source of comfort. ( 2 Corinthians:1, 3, 4) Please feel free to visit our website, jw.org, for comforting Bible answers.

We truly feel for that you and the family are going through at this time. We deeply feel for your loss. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG
