I would like to offer my condolences for your loss. I hope you will find comfort in knowing that Jehovah, the God of all comfort, will soon eliminate all grief and provide permanent consolation when “all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Christ’s] voice and come out”! (John 5:28, 29) God promises that “he will do away with death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isa. 25:8) Then, instead of having to “weep with those who weep,” all earth’s inhabitants will “rejoice with those who rejoice.”?—Rom. 12:15.

Although I never met my spiritual sister Amanda, from her knowledge from the scriptures she knew about the resurrection that Jesus taught his disciples as stated in the book of John 5:28,29 " Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29?and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment". She knew that there is going to be a resurrection. She also knew from her teaching from God's word that Jesus said at Matthew 5:5 Matthew "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth."(KJV) in which David wrote something similar in the book of Psalms 37:11 'But the meek shall inherit the earth,And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace." Yes we are looking forward of one day seeing this earth turn into a paradise in which Jehovah God intended with Adam and Eve. As Isaiah prophesied about no more sickness in Isaiah 33:24 and John repeated in the book of Revelation 21:3,4 "no more death" That would be a wonderful time to see loved ones coming back on THIS EARTH and welcome our loved ones back to earth but an earth with no violence as Psalms 37:9,10 and there would be plenty of food and homes for everyone as it is stated at Isaiah 65: 21"They will build houses and live in them, And they will plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. This something that our sister taught and one day we are looking forward of seeing her in in God's new world.

Dear family and friends, We are so very sorry about the loss of your loved one, Betty. When something like this happens it causes much pain and grief, and we naturally long for the time when we are able to see our loved one again. The reason for this hope is because it's a promise to us from our loving Father. Isaiah 26:19 tells us that our loved ones who've fallen asleep in death will live again. I hope you'll take comfort in the Bible's hope (God's promise) that is soon to come true. Titus 1:2. What a joy that will be to unite again with Betty in perfect health with no more suffering! Respectfully, John & Regina Thompson

Dear Family and Friends, We are so very sorry to hear about your loss. Betty was truly a sweet person inside and out and her beliefs in the Bible are what gave her strong faith in our heavenly father Jehovah God. There are many scriptures that bring us great comfort in times when we need strength. The Bible helps us to see that God’s promises to be there for us by saying at Ps. 34:18 “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” And the words at Isaiah 12:2 - “Jehovah is my strength and my might, And he has become my salvation.” We hope that these scriptures will help to give you comfort and strength as they have helped us in all avenues of our lives but especially now. The website JW.ORG helps to answer many questions that ones have in regards to what happens to us when we die and what hope that we can have for the future.[search_id]=cca1b5a5-a062-499f-8ae5-2fb2cc7b2ee0&insight[search_result_index]=3

To The Mock Family: I’m very sad to hear about the death of Betty. I’ve been thinking about your entire family because of this. This is something that will take time to come to grips with. My hope is that this letter, informing you what the Bible says about the resurrection hope, might bring you comfort. Unfortunately, nothing can fully prepare you for such a loss, but God can comfort you to cope with your pain and grief. One way he comforts us is looking into the Bible to find out, for a certainty, whether death ends it all? When we lose someone to death, we find ourselves wishing it was just a dream and that we can wake up and our love one would still be here. We know that the Bible says that our love ones are all asleep, but we may wonder for how long? John 11:11. Job asked this question when he felt near to death: “If a man dies, can he live again?” Job 14:14. Addressing Almighty God, Job answered his own question, saying: “You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands.” (Job 14:15) Job felt sure that Jehovah longed for the day when He would resurrect His faithful servant. Was that mere wishful thinking on Job’s part? Not at all. The resurrections performed by Jesus offered clear proof that God gave Jesus power over death. In fact, the Bible says that Jesus now possesses “the keys of death.” (Revelation 1:18). The Bible shows us that when our love ones go to the grave they are just asleep (Luke 8:52). Even as a human, if you had the power, wouldn't you want to wake Betty up from sleep? Well that's exactly how God feels and He will do just that. You see, the Almighty God has perfect power and ability to do as he pleases and it is His desire to bring her back to life. He will restore life not only to Betty but to all of our family members and friends who’ve fallen asleep in death. Titus 1:1,2 tells us that God cannot lie. He promises that there will be a resurrection, therefore, it will happen! The Bible says that death is God's enemy. 1 Cor. 15:26. We know that death is not a part of God’s original plan of mankind living forever and he would certainly not use an enemy to thwart his plan for us. You may recognize some of the other Bible promises regarding death that are shown below: He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds. Ps 147:3 Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection." John 11:24. "Many of those asleep in the dust of the earth will wake up." Daniel 12:2. Ecclesiastes 9:5 says: For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten. John 11:25 Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life. “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”—John 5:28, 29. The apostle Paul said: “I have hope toward God . . . that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” Acts 24:15. Again I’m so sorry about your dear loved one Betty. I just wanted to share some encouraging scriptures with you regarding the resurrection hope. May they bring you comfort as they have me, as these scripture assures us that the Dead Will Rise!! Sincerely, Denise Sparks
